About my Work in New Hampshire

New Hampshire’s Live Free or Die ethos runs deep, and it shapes how people move through the world — including how they approach their own wellbeing. I offer secure video therapy to adults throughout New Hampshire, from Manchester and Concord to the Lakes Region, the White Mountains, and the Seacoast, with no drive, no waiting room, and no appointment-day logistics.

New Hampshire has faced significant substance use challenges — opioids especially — alongside a rural geography that creates real access gaps in mental health care across much of the state. Whether you’re in a city or a more rural area, teletherapy means the distance between you and a qualified therapist is no longer the obstacle it once was.

UNH, Dartmouth, Plymouth State, and New Hampshire’s other colleges bring a significant student population into environments that can be academically intense and geographically isolating. Students navigating ADHD, anxiety, or the disorientation that comes with high-pressure programs often find that consistent, individual therapy provides something campus counseling services — with their session limits and waitlists — simply aren’t set up to offer.

New Hampshire’s culture values directness and practicality, and I try to reflect that in how I work. Therapy isn’t about sitting with feelings indefinitely — it’s about understanding what’s happening and building real skills to manage it. If you’re ready to approach things differently, this is a good place to start.

About Me

I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor with 21 years of experience, licensed in Georgia, Florida, South Carolina, Vermont, and New Hampshire, and practicing in Ohio and Minnesota through the Counseling Compact. I'm board certified in telemental health (BC-TMH), certified as an ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and a Certified Professional Counselor Supervisor in Georgia — which means part of my work is training and overseeing other therapists.

What I care about more than any of that is whether you feel safe enough to be honest, and whether the work is actually useful to you.

I'm trained in a range of approaches — cognitive behavioral therapy, acceptance and commitment therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, motivational interviewing, and EMDR. I think of those as tools rather than a method I run people through. Which ones we use depends on you and what you're working on. Some people want structure and something to practice between sessions. Others need to think out loud with someone who knows what to listen for. Often it's both, at different points.

What stays constant is that we go at your pace, you decide what we work on, and nothing happens because it was next in a sequence.
